Pick up material for painter.
Schedule air conditioner repair for next week.
Ice maker leaked again. Lifted rug and placed fan to dry area.
Stewardess came and finished cleaning.
Inspected air conditioning units.
Pilot house AC unit
The pan has no plumbing and just drips out.
This is the top of the salon unit. The red and white wires lead to a sensor. This was the place of an earlier failure. So much rust had built up between the two terminal that it created an arc and tripped the sensor.
Pilot house AC
The unit in the center is the compressor. The paint is beginning to peel. Since the unit sweats (condensation) the paint is what keeps it from rusting.
The unit was shut off for the night so that it can thoroughly dry. Old paint and rust removed.
Salt deposits are everywhere. It is thick and baked in.
The salt is eating away the insulation and anything it is touching.
This is hose leading to a through hole. it is leaking salt water and being held in place by and old rusted hose clamp. Large deposits of salt are evident.
Many of the hose clamps were corroded.
Some were single clamped.
All raw water hoses should be double clamped
New high strength hose clamps were used to replace rusted or missing clamps
More to come

leaking liquid receiver
Pic of salon unit
This is a pic of the pilot house unit.
The pan is full of water.
Rust and corrosion have taken a firm foothold.
Time and effort can be spent now to save the unit from further decay or a great deal more can spent in the future to replace it.

Double check all expense reports and correct dating input errors.
Picked up magic sponges and plugs need to for forward fuel tank project.
Cap rail was taped and sanded last night.
Called and confirmed AC repair today. Ben will not be able to make it till this afternoon. He will send Jeff in his stead.
Detailer Vernina was instructed and will begin organizing and cleaning aft lockers.
Plugged holes in the forward tank. The hose believed to be a fill hose is actually a vent hose. Wiped area around top of tank too see if fill hole was covered. At this time no fill hole can be found. Fuel line hanging in the generator room has been capped.
existing line is a vent
Met with James the painter and went over area that that needed painting. Added a coat of varnish.
Made James aware of our time frame. James was noncommittal and said he would speak to Crawford.
Stewardess stripped and made all beds and began cleaning of staterooms.
Found badly rusted hose clamp on the raw water supply side of Stateroom AC chiller. Replaced rusted hose clamp and found another leaking clamp. Tightened that clamp and added another.
Also found that the raw water supply (suction side) to the aft AC pump is collapsing. This will need to be changed before it fails. In the mean time it will be logged in the defect list.
Found generator voltage regulator locally through BOW. Price is $825.00. Emailed Crawford with price. Standing by.
Pulled out salon ice maker to trouble shoot. traced failure to clogged valve. Once debris was removed and cleared the valve would no longer seal properly and leaked. The water supply connection for the ice maker was makeshift an eventually failed. It will be re-plumbed with proper connections.
Jeff from Elite Marine can to diagnose AC system. The salon unit was bone dry. This indicates a large leak. Unit will be filled with nitrogen in order to try and find leak.
VIP control panel had loose connection and was fixed.
