Uncover tender and plug in trickle charger. Noticed small amount of rust and debris gathered near drain. Fuel filter and filter housing is in need of some attention. Cleaned and covered tender securely for overnight charge.
Tender
Fuel filter housing.
Areas of the tender can benifit from primer and spot paint.
Interviewed boat detailer and explained what was needed. Vernina will begin tomorrow.
Ordered voltage regulator for aft generator.
Worked on work list item number 8)Replace fuel filler line to forward fuel tank & pump out.
Inspected the tank and tried to determine where the hose enters the tank. There is already a fill hose leading to the fuel tank located abaft of the aft generator. More history is needed. In the mean time a cap will be added to seal the fill line the is hanging in the forward starboard side of the generator room.
This is a pic of the top of the fuel tank behind the aft generator. The large hose to the left is a fill line that enters the top of the tank. This line originates at the fuel fill located outside of the starboard door.
The two fittings you see at the center of the pic are either return or supply lines. The hoses leading to these fitting have completely corroded away and have been thrown out long ago. Plugs will be used to seal the fittings.
