Pick up material for painter.
Schedule air conditioner repair for next week.
Ice maker leaked again. Lifted rug and placed fan to dry area.
Stewardess came and finished cleaning.
Inspected air conditioning units.
Pilot house AC unit
The pan has no plumbing and just drips out.
This is the top of the salon unit. The red and white wires lead to a sensor. This was the place of an earlier failure. So much rust had built up between the two terminal that it created an arc and tripped the sensor.
Pilot house AC
The unit in the center is the compressor. The paint is beginning to peel. Since the unit sweats (condensation) the paint is what keeps it from rusting.
The unit was shut off for the night so that it can thoroughly dry. Old paint and rust removed.
Salt deposits are everywhere. It is thick and baked in.
The salt is eating away the insulation and anything it is touching.
This is hose leading to a through hole. it is leaking salt water and being held in place by and old rusted hose clamp. Large deposits of salt are evident.
Many of the hose clamps were corroded.
Some were single clamped.
All raw water hoses should be double clamped
New high strength hose clamps were used to replace rusted or missing clamps
More to come
