This is the wood platform decking in the Generator room, directly below the forward, air conditioner raw water pump.
This is a can of worms better suited for another time.
The pump, pictured below, has been inspected, cleaned and the motor just changed.

Aft pump motor will get the same treatment.
A new pump will be ordered (cheaper and with free shipping, I love that part) as well as a spare


A proper valving system should be used. Every pump should have a cut-off valve. This can be a future project.
